Okay, the entrance to the trail is a block west of emerson. You can also start up at Ellenberger park which is also a good place to park your ride if you are just making a loop. Garfield park if you are coming from south. first cool thing you come to after Howe is the Pennsylvania railroad bridge (pic. 1 +2). Beware broken glass under the bridge--kids can't help it--but it still blows!!'!
After the bridge--you cross the road and the next place you are is Christian park.(pic.3 +4) A little park more for football and baseball--picnics really. the next major crossroad is Sherman.
This is also where you go under another bridge and once again--Look for glass!! Watch the signs and cross at the light (it's easier).keep on the left and follow the sidewalk as it is a little confusing. You will see the trail signs when you get to the next light.
This stretch brings you to English and the Twin Aire zone.
